COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced its 2016-17 Scholar-Athlete Award recipients today. A league record 756 student-athletes were honored, including 77 individuals who have achieved a 4.00 or higher cumulative grade point average over two or more terms, and 71 student-athletes who were recognized in multiple sports. The 756 honorees surpass the previous Conference high of 734 in 2015-16.
