The Nevada Wolf Pack track & field team battled the elements on Saturday to get off to a great start to the outdoor season at the Cal Opener.

After finishing with many more points than expected at the Mountain West Indoor Championships, the Nevada Wolf Pack track & field team will compete under the sky this weekend at the Cal Opener in Berkeley, Calif.

After their strong performances at the Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships, senior Nicole Wadden and junior Leah Carter have received all-conference honors.

The Nevada Wolf Pack track & field team finished the Mountain West Indoor Championships strong Saturday, turning in several point-earning performances and a new record on the all-time list.

The Nevada Wolf Pack women’s track & field team snagged 10 points on the second day of the Mountain West Indoor Championships, putting them in fifth place overall with 21 points.

Coming down the stretch in the 800 meter, the final event of the pentathlon, Nicole Wadden didn’t realize she was about to win.
