The University of Nevada cross country team will travel to the 2012 Mountain West Women's Cross Country Championships that will be held on Friday, Oct. 26 at Silver Bowl Park in Las Vegas, Nev. The women's 6-kilometer race will begin at 10 a.m. PT.

Focused on a more aggressive race strategy, the Nevada Wolf Pack bolted off the starting line and charged the opening straight away to escape the crush of over 350 starters all trying to make a turn 300 meters into the Chile Pepper Festival 6000.

The University of Nevada cross country team finished tenth at the Chile Pepper Invitational Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark.
